St. Margaret's is a friendly village church with a community built around the shared life of Jesus Christ and worship is central to everything we do. By tradition the Church is middle of the road Anglican with moderate Catholic ceremonial (vestments, Reserved Sacrament). As the only Church in the village we try to provide something for all tastes. We have strong loyalty to the Book of Common Prayer and are one of the few village Churches still to offer choral evensong. We also enjoy contemporary worship with a wide musical tradition from choral anthems to modern worship songs.

Our bell ringers are the finest in the county and we are very proud of our work with children and young people. The Church's year is fully celebrated with many moving and well attended special services at festivals. Our congregation supports a twice-termly Messy Church which meets at the village school, which is a Church of England Primary.
